Social Media Manager
I took up Hospitality Management for College in St. Scholastica’s College Manila. My first job was a banquet sales executive for a hotel here in Manila then eventually transferred to a five-star luxury hotel as a Front Office agent then eventually got promoted to guest services officer. Being in the front of the house has opened my eyes to things I could not even imagine before. Looking at Front Office Agents, they always look so glamorous and effortlessly graceful, they make the job look easy, but I was wrong. Dealing with customers daily is very hard as everyone is different and one thing, I have learned is that you could not please everyone. But the important thing is always anticipating the needs of your guest and to be reliable, all gusts must feel that they can count on you for anything. I was able to get my can-do attitude from being in the Front Office, as they say the guest is always right. I am currently the Executive Assistant to the General Manager and Hotel Manager of a five-star luxury hotel. When the pandemic started, the hospitality industry is one of the greatly affected industries and that is why I decided to explore other options that I can do at home. Since 2020, I had an experience working as a Social Media Manager for an Ecommerce shop based in the Philippines and US. I found out that I really enjoyed it and that I am good at it!
