I am dedicated professional with several years of experience in a Hospital Setting, specifically in billing process for those May Go Home patients. Wherein, in my current job, I honed my skills in managing insurance claims, medical coding and billing process in order to ensure a detailed and comprehensive understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines. Moreover, applying for a role that I don’t have a lot of experience with, is definitely challenging specifically as Medical Insurance Virtual Assistant Job since I am more on Hospital Setting. However, I think this is precisely the reason why I wanted to apply for this role. I wanted to challenge myself, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and develop new skills. Furthermore, stepping out of one's comfort zone can lead to new and unexpected opportunities, even if I don’t have all the experiences required for this role. I believe that my willingness to learn and my ability to adapt quickly will make me a valuable asset for this team. Actual/Specific Knowledge: 1. Assisted in checking the Patients’ Charts in order to evaluate their specific diagnoses and to determine their specific claims and/or charges corresponding to ICD-10 code. 2. Inputting diagnoses using ICD-10 codes and charges for services electronically to generate final charges/co-payments.
