E-Commerce Sourcing & Administrative Assistant (Paid Trial to Part-Time)
About Us We are a growing international e-commerce company based in Germany specializing in consumer products and physical goods. As we scale our manufacturing and expand our product lines we are looking for a highly organized resourceful and proactive Virtual Assistant to join our team long-term. Hiring Process To find the right fit we are selecting a small number of candidates to complete a paid test project. If selected for the paid trial you will be given a specific product brief (a novelty textile good) a budget and asked to: Research existing similar market concepts. Identify 3-5 capable manufacturers Gather MOQs and unit costs Research on how to handle tech pack requirements Present all findings in a clean professional spreadsheet or presentation Long Term Role Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Product Sourcing: Finding and vetting new manufacturers for product launches. Logistics: Obtaining and comparing accurate shipping and freight quotes. Admin & Compliance: Updating our routine reporting duties and sourcing business/product insurance quotes for executive sign-off. Project Management: Organizing freelancers (e.g. coordinating with designers to get tech packs made when required). What you bring: Proven experience sourcing physical products from Asian manufacturers (Alibaba direct factory outreach etc.). Strong understanding of manufacturing terminology (MOQ DDP EXW Lead Times). Excellent written English and professional communication skills. High proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel for data organization. A proactive mindset: You don't just wait for instructions; you anticipate problems (e.g. asking a supplier about anti-slip backing without us having to tell you).
