Hello! I’m Edgar, a Social media expert in the area of Social Media Marketing. I was born in central Mindanao in the Philippines, together with my sister raised by our mother only. She is a teacher by profession which is why we got free from Primary to secondary education. In my college days, I worked part-time from housekeeping to their office which where I can practice my College degree in Office Administration. After graduating from college, I worked at a private hospital as a Billing Officer, after months I decided to work in a well-known company, Globe Telecom. I was a shop specialist there. Our task is to do sales, entertain clients as they enter the store. After working in the field of sales, I stopped working for a month to accompany my newborn son that was September 2017. We can’t find someone who will look after a newborn child. Then a friend told me to work online. And that’s the time I did not apply at any local establishments. I was surfing the internet for job opportunities, then I got in here. I love to spend time on this journey here in the digital world. Since I have been exposed now especially to Social media, and still learning Digital designing. Instagram is where I got the interest. It’s a great platform to engage as a brand to your followers. We all know that more people are visual than reading long stories especially the late generation. One image can make several meanings to describe a Brand. I’ve been ignoring big company’s ads on all social media platforms. I asked myself “that why are there so many ads?” Then, I explored, studied, and realized that there will be a great opportunity for me in the industry. After achieving a degree, Bachelor of Science in Office Administration at STI College Tacurong, it started in my last year of learning in college, got a course about e-commerce. I did get some ideas about how Digital Marketing works. I got interested, since then I’ve been spending a lot of time on Social Media. Done a course in Udemy, Instagram Marketing 2018: A step by step guide to your first 10,000 followers. I’ve been studying Instagram’s algorithms, and new functions in their every update. Even I have this course, I am still willing to learn your company’s objectives, and do courses. It will be a great start for me to take a deep knowledge of your company’s goals.
