Revenue Cycle Management - Claims and Posting Specialist
• Manage and support RCM team members and provide their performance and production reports weekly/monthly/quarterly • Ensure targets are met on daily and monthly basis and ensure reports are completed on or before the deadline • Prepare monthly aging reports for the team, analyze the root cause of number fluctuations, assign team member to best work on specific office • Institute continuous quality improvement initiative, identify and provide ongoing training opportunities • Shares feedback regarding discrepancies received and conduct monthly performance evaluation and coaching • Performs audit on posting reports on monthly basis, ensuring payment type and amount is correctly allocated to provider, procedure and office • Timely follow-up on claims, addressing denials, obtaining payment information, resending claims and necessary attachments to ensure claims are paid • Provides solution and support to claims and posting department, research on provider portals and shares updates to the team • Ensures HIPAA guidelines are observed by safeguarding the sensitive information in the capacity of the position and responsibilities
