Virtual Assistant & Customer Service Specialist
Hi! My name is Gerah B. Cabuenias. The foundation of my past trainings and work experiences are greatly based on customer service and admin work.
I first started as a call center agent in the business process outsourcing industry as an outbound sales agent. We do cold calling and set up appointments for solar panels. I dialed that account for a couple of months and I was transferred to a different account then which is for merchant cash advance what we do is we qualify those businesses that would like to get loans and once we qualify them we transfer them a specialist from the US. Thats basically what I did as an outbound sales agent. I've decided to try new opportunities that's why I've worked as a customer service agent for eBay NA under trust and safety department. What we do there is help customers that has issues with their account and listings. I've been there for two 2 years. And then I met this colleague/people that has been working as a virtual assistant / home based professional and I witnessed how convenient,easier it is to work from home as long as you have the correct equipment and the pay is good. That's why I decided to try working as a VA and I worked as VA for 2 years for Modern Bath House and other 5 online stores. So I handled 6 stores in total. My main work is to process orders, providing customer service as support for online stores, keep detailed accounting records of transactions, responding to customer inquiries via phone or email, monitoring and follow up on previous customer issues, tracking shipped orders and following up with shipping and additional administrative tasks related to online business.
