Airtable & Automation Specialist

This remote role involves maintaining, optimizing, and scaling the Airtable and Zapier infrastructure for a venture capital firm. The specialist will work with operations and investment teams to power internal systems, from deal tracking to founder onboarding and portfolio operations. The primary focus is on improving existing workflows and building new automations quickly. Key Responsibilities | Maintain, optimize, and scale the Airtable and Zapier infrastructure | Improve existing Airtable workflows, building new views, restructuring bases, and setting up Zapier automations | Manage startup pipeline and deal-tracking systems in Airtable | Develop founder application and onboarding automation | Ensure CRM and data synchronization between Airtable and other tools | Create multi-step Zapier workflows connecting Airtable to the broader tech stack | Build internal dashboards and reporting views for investment and operations teams | Perform ongoing base architecture, cleanup, and optimization | Help build and maintain the automation layer behind a modern venture capital platform Key Qualifications | Strong, demonstrated proficiency in Airtable, including bases, fields, linked records, views, and native automations | Experience building multi-step Zaps in Zapier, including conditional logic and multi-app workflows | Ability to review and understand existing systems quickly, without needing extensive onboarding | Ability to build and deploy automations on demand, with fast turnaround | Comfort managing and optimizing startup pipeline databases and founder CRM systems | Familiarity with supporting tools such as Typeform and Google Workspace is a plus | Website design and website building (Webflow & Figma) are additional pluses
