Shopify CRO Developer Frontend Specialist

Job Description
We’re SYNC Health, a premium personalized supplement brand built on Shopify. We’re looking for a Shopify CRO Developer who can take our detailed CRO roadmap and turn it into high-converting pages, tests, and UX improvements. This is an ongoing, part-time retainer with potential to grow.
Responsibilities:
Implement new homepage, PDP, PLP sections based on provided wireframes and copy
Set up and optimize bundles, multi-pack discounts, upsells, and cart logic
Integrate and customize Recharge, Klaviyo forms, review widgets, quiz apps, announcement bars, pop-ups
Improve site speed & mobile UX (lazy load, image optimization, CSS/JS cleanup)
Help set up simple A/B tests for hero sections, CTAs, offer blocks, etc.
Ensure clean tracking (Meta pixel, GA4 events, Klaviyo events)
Requirements:
3+ years Shopify theme dev (Liquid, Online Store 2.0, sections)
Strong HTML/CSS/JS with examples of custom sections & scripts
Experience with subscription apps (Recharge/Skio/etc.)
At least 2 proven examples where you improved conversion rate or AOV – be ready to talk metrics
Comfortable working with tools like Klaviyo, GA4, Meta Pixel
Fluent English and comfortable communicating via Slack/Notion/Loom
Nice to have:
Experience with health/supplements brands
Familiarity with CRO tools (VWO, Convert, Google Optimize legacy, or theme-based testing)
