    About Notstr8ight Notstr8ight is an LGBTQ+ Pride travel platform and global Pride calendar built to connect queer travellers with Pride events community spaces and inclusive destinations around the world. The platform has been growing organically over the last few years and works closely with Pride organisations local LGBTQ+ platforms and community-led initiatives. This role supports the next stage of growth focused on outreach relationship-building and improving SEO through meaningful backlinks. The role I’m looking for a virtual assistant on an hourly basis to support outreach to: Pride organisations LGBTQ+ community platforms LGBTQ+ news outlets and blogs Local queer initiatives and media The main goal is to introduce them to relevant Notstr8ight event pages encourage them to review or share them and where appropriate secure dofollow backlinks to support SEO. This is not spam outreach. It’s thoughtful respectful community-led communication. I am also looking for assistance with video editing to create Instagram Reels using Edits Caption or other video editing apps to produce high-quality professional reels to support my own and partner websites. Key responsibilities Research Pride organisations LGBTQ+ platforms and queer media outlets worldwide Send personalised outreach emails introducing Notstr8ight and relevant event pages Follow up politely when there’s no response Track outreach responses and links gained (spreadsheet or simple CRM) Identify opportunities for longer-term relationships collaborations or partnerships Flag warm leads or promising contacts for deeper follow-up Over time this role may expand into light relationship management and partnership prep. Create 60-90 second high-quality Instagram reels and related products. What I’m looking for Strong written communication skills in English Confident but warm outreach style Comfortable with follow-ups and gentle chasing Organised and detail-oriented Basic understanding of SEO and backlinks (or willingness to learn) Confident in preparing social media content specifically Instagram reels for marketing Comfortable working independently and proactively Very important: This role works directly with LGBTQ+ community spaces. I’m looking for someone in the LGBTQ+ community who understands the importance of Pride community trust and respectful outreach. I understand that not everyone is comfortable being fully “out” in a professional context especially depending on location or culture.
