After graduating in 2015, I landed my first job at ePerformax Contact Centers and BPO as a Customer Service Representative. In August 2016, I applied as a Front Desk Officer/Customer Service at Speedtalk Language Training Center, but I was hired as a Language Instructor instead as the owner/HR saw potential in me. During my employment in Speedtalk, I've conducted several classes, teaching Visayan, Tagalog, and English to non-native speakers. I have also been privileged and trained to conduct and assist in communication-related trainings for multi-national companies. Taking a leap of faith, I applied at LH Prime Medical Clinic as a Front Desk Officer in 2019. Despite my lack of knowledge in the medical field, I got hired. I was trained, and thankfully enough, I learned the ropes to perform my duties well. In 2020, the pandemic started and I lost my job at LH Prime Medical Clinic. Fortunately, I got hired by Typewriter Pub/BLVNP as a Book Editor. We were trained using The Chicago Manual of Style. As an editor, we are tasked to copyedit, content edit, and proofread the book that is assigned to us. We also have a lot of enrichment activities within the team to enhance our skills, especially in editing. I've also been trained to be a literary agent where we scout books that we deem fit for publishing. My next journey started in January 2023. I was hired as a Timesheet Coordinator at Core MedStaff, a US-based nurse staffing agency. I am tasked to review timesheets for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company rules and regulations. We enter timesheet data into company software and verify timesheets against approved schedules and/or contracts.
