Hello! My name is Lloyd Vincent Flores. I am a licensed Pharmacist in the Philippines with strong knowledge in medical terminology. I studied a bachelor of science in pharmacy because I’ve always had passion for science and healthcare. I wanted to optimize the health and well-being of everyone by sharing my knowledge. I worked as a hospital pharmacist wherein my duties include drug therapy monitoring, prescription validation, dispensing medications, transcribing Doctor’s orders for home medications, patient counseling, inventory management and other administrative tasks in running the business. I have worked as well as a Virtual Assistant in a US based consulting firm. My tasks were email management, appointment setting, follow ups and answering inquiries through phone calls, texts and emails with our clients. Receiving and uploading documents into our CRM. Constant communication with the team for inquiries and updates. Reviewing the documents of our clients to ensure its accuracy and avoid denials of claims. I received a training as a medical assistant which gave me fundamental knowledge in healthcare in USA as well as the functions of a medical assistant such as scribing, appointment setting, billing, prior authorization, insurance verification and handling patient records in compliance with HIPAA. I was also trained to navigate EMR systems such as OneTouch and Elation.
