I am currently into house design as a hobby. With my experiences, I’ve been in the BPO industry for about 3 years, going around Customer, Technical, and Sales Support, and half a year as an assistant for an IT Company in Canada. December 2013 to 2014 was when I landed a customer care position for SiriusXM, it’s a year of stay. Doing inbound calls, providing answers to billing enquiries of our customers. 6 months within the company, I was transferred to our Sales department, as they saw potential in me in Sales. Though I love what I am doing, I needed to leave the company for medical reasons. My throat was sore for about a month, my last month in the company. I did seek medical care and was told to take a rest. I then went back to my hometown and helped me mum with housework. Not in another 6 months that I decided to go back to work. Which June 2015, I was able to get an Email Support Representative for Uber account. Answering rider’s concern about their trips and fare and sometimes fraud. I left the company, in December of that year, for personal reasons, that I would like to leave it as it is. Whilst with no permanent job, I made sure to make a living for myself, I started turning to freelance. Doing designs, which as I’ve mentioned earlier, well. It became my past time, and passion of some sort. I then have to face that reality that I needed to find a fixed income since my brother was going to college. Luckily, I landed a technical support position in Telus, for the World’s Largest Search Engine account. It’s quite pure technical, in terms of the support that I am handling. I was in Tier 1 for my first 7 months, then was transferred to Tier 2 for the rest of my 1 and a half years within the company. We’re doing phone, email, and chat support for our customers. I cannot discuss more of the account, as I was under NDA. I love that account, though I felt stagnant with growth, and the cost of living is just devouring my monthly salary. So I needed to look for a new one. It’s a hard time, after Telus, I am unable to find a decent job for about 3 months, then I tried teaching English for Chinese, which was good, honestly. But the company that I applied 3 months earlier, have not yet contacted me. But in the midst of October, it came. I was hired by Interlock IT for an assistant and sales position. Though just for 6 months contract, I was able to perform my job with minimal support from the team. We can’t afford to have a week or two to train me on what to do. So I am training whilst on the job. From such a process I was able to learn CRM tools, and other Sales Pipeline systems in order to do efficient tasks.
