    Profile Summary

    Mr. Paul Meñez

I have served as a pastoral staff member, minister, leader, counselor, Sidewalk Sunday School teacher/coordinator, graphic designer, content writer, video and audio editor, and an all-around volunteer at a non-government organization. I am obedient, teachable, and diligent. Thank you for taking the time to read through my resume’. I had almost two years of experience in the BPO industry when it was still starting in the Philippines. I then served for two years as a liaison officer for an architectural firm, working directly with the CEO and architect and assisting in their petroleum corporation accounts. In the next ten years, I worked for a non-profit organization, and they assigned me seven years as a graphic artist, audio editor, and video editor. I was then promoted to pastoral assistant/ministry coordinator, heading the community development team handling Sidewalk Sunday School (character-formation classes), serving close to a thousand children weekly. I took responsibility for coordination, communication (internal and external), project management, volunteer management, curriculum, reports, administrative requirements, and ad-hoc duties entailed with the job. I also assisted the department head in both administrative and ministerial capacities. I was also a faculty member of the ministry training center of our organization. When I served in Nepal as a Community Development Officer for two years (2016–2018), I also functioned as a Ministry Head in charge of member care and follow-up. I launched a social media campaign to promote our organization and plug it into its members and the community at large. During this time, our regular attendees doubled in size, and the small groups for consistent member care flourished. I trained more leaders to help in communication, follow-up, member care, and training. I also edit videos, make presentations, social media posts, and even collateral for church promotions. I also had one year of pro-bono work for an organization of foreign business owners, through which I designed their brochure for the organization to contact international direct investors in the nation for their various social enterprises. Before this 16-year work experience, I ran my internet cafe and computer shop business for two years and also sold health and wellness products from 2001–2003, doing mostly sales, marketing, and recruitment of distributors, and managing customers' concerns. I am committed and very teachable. I do whatever it takes to deliver on my commitments. I have empathy for people as one of my strengths, for my teammates, and also for clients/members. I have come across different kinds of people in cross-cultural settings and know how to not just relate but also solve unlikely situations peacefully and professionally. Having had work experience as a customer service representative, I am a troubleshooter of sorts and have technical skills adaptable to my experience as a graphic designer and video editor. I find ways to bring solutions, simplify and innovate, prioritize customer/member care and satisfaction, and give my excellent best in the tasks at hand. I look forward to being an asset to your company, as well.
